The characters in a book were described as attending a “luncheon.”
The definition sounds so fancy!
Hm so is this like dictionary tag where you call out Marc’s name and then he has to redefine the word? Marc, two things: You might want to rethink your use of the word “indiscreet,” and I want a Bloody Mary! According to the above information, Meredith…
…you are correct. Thanks for the update.
C’mon now, Shane. Did you really think it was a lunch that last for either a billion years or an indefinitely long period of time? You need to start attending some different luncheons. Or is this sarcasm?
Is this a question for me, Christine? No, I don’t need the name. But thanks for asking!
Ooh, the “real meaning.” What’s the fake meaning?
Mary Beth, you can’t just make up your own words. And if you are going to, don’t do it on the dictionary, where the authority on words can see you! Ivy, you are kind of a biotch here…also, not sure if it’s an unnecessarily longer form, but I do agree with your pointing out that it’s more a combo of “breakfast” and “luncheon” than anything else. The “brunch” part is more of an overlap.
OK, now I really want a luncheon! A luncheon with Blood Marys that lasts for eons! Who’s with me?
